In Honor and Memory of Our Beloved Friend and Brother

2nd Lieutenant Jeffrey Alan Reistad
October 21, 1977 - April 1, 2008
2nd Lieutenant Jeffery Alan Reistad passed away suddenly and peacefully in his sleep in the early morning of April 1, 2008 at his home.
Lt Reistad was a 15 year member of the Dan Leghorn Engine Company, and owner/operator of the landscaping business “Relax and Call Jeff.” He was also a member of the Black Rock Fish and Game Club, where he and his best friend, his father Dennis, shared their passion for hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving parents at home, Dennis and Janet Hansen Reistad; loving sisters, Jenee Bailey and her husband Chris, and Denise Carpenter and her husband Ben.
Lt. Reistad was a gentle, caring person, with a heart of gold. Jeff was always willing to help anyone in need. This young man's reputation for being an honest and hard worker preceded him everywhere. He never said no when someone asked for his help - his work ethic and integrity is an example for all.
Jeffrey was truly loved by everyone who knew him....he will be dearly missed by all, and remembered forever.
Here are some scenes from the memorial service at our firehouse.....a firehouse that mourns.....but will always remember Jeff Reistad.
